Additional communes meet advanced new rural standards

(ĐN) – More five communes in Dong Nai were recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards on April 11, bringing total advanced new rural communes in the province to 111.

They include Song Trau commune in Trang Bom district, Phu Thinh, Dak Lua, and Nam Cat Tien communes in Tan Phu district, and Thanh Phu commune in Vinh Cuu district.

Over the past time, the communes have achieved remarkable achievements in developing technical infrastructure, such as rural roads, educational and healthcare facilities, along with successfully restructuring agricultural production toward high economic efficiency crops.

Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang of the provincial People’s Committee emphasized the importance of thoroughly fulfilling all criteria, especially environmental ones. She highlighted the need to create bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscapes and to implement waste classification at the source. She also urged relevant departments and agencies to proactively coordinate with the five communes to provide guidance and promptly propose solutions to remove obstacles and difficulties in completing the application for advanced new rural recognition.
