Fresh cocoa prices have hit a 70-year record at VND 16,000/kg due to global supply shortages, especially in Africa. Accordingly, farmers now earn profits of VND 200–300 million per hectare per year, compared to VND 40–60 million when the project began.

In 2024, Trong Duc Cocoa produced over 300,000 seedlings to meet rising demand, up 150% from 2023.

The Ngoc Dinh Cocoa Cooperative has 60 members cultivating 80 hectares. Yields have increased by 20–30%, reaching 18–25 tons per hectare. Cocoa offers year-round harvests, low investment, and is resilient to climate challenges.

Trong Duc Cocoa has developed a closed value chain from planting to processing and export. Farmers receive high-quality seedlings, technical support, and guaranteed purchase prices. Many areas have shifted to organic farming, with over 200 hectares in Dong Nai certified under the global UTZ sustainable farming program—the highest in Vietnam.

Currently, the company offers 60 processed cocoa products, including two 4-star and one 5-star potential OCOP items, boosting added value for this high-potential crop.
