Dong Nai to allocate $244mln for key projects in 2024

The Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee will allocate an additional VND4.9 trillion ($200 million) from the provincial budget for the province’s key projects in 2024.

This will bring the total amount of investment capital allocated for these projects to nearly VND6 trillion ($244) this year, up 25 per cent compared to 2023.

There are 29 key projects in the province, including 22 projects using the provincial budget.

Most of the projects are in the field of transport infrastructure, including a project on compensation and resettlement for Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, a project on building a road along the Dong Nai River, and another on building a central route for Bien Hoa city.

As of the end of January, over VND3.3 trillion ($134.6 million) of the VND4.5 trillion ($183.6 million) of investment capital allocated for these projects had been disbursed.
