The road will have a 45-m-wide foundation, including a 14-m-wide roadway, 6-m-wide sidewalks on each side, a 19-m-wide greenbelt, and an independent rainwater and wastewater drainage system.
The total investment for the project is around 1.32 trillion VND, with the People's Committee of Long Khanh City as the project owner. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The Long Khanh City Belt Road is one of the key projects for Dong Nai Province. The road is being built to enhance transportation infrastructure, alleviate traffic congestion in the area, attract investment, promote urban expansion, and boost the socio-economic development of Long Khanh City.
To construct the road, Long Khanh City needs to acquire nearly 240,000 square meters of land from 239 households and five organisations. As of now, the city has approved compensation and support plans in four phases, totalling more than 446 billion VND. Land clearance for the project has been nearly completed.
