815 new enterprises established in Q1

(ĐN)- In Jan-March, 815 new enterprises were established in Dong Nai with a total registered capital of nearly VND 7.1 trillion, up over 33% compared to the same period of last year.

Most of the newly established businesses operate in the fields of trade and services, construction, and agricultural product processing. The average registered capital per enterprise was over VND 8.7 billion, about VND 1.2 billion lower than the national average.

Nationwide, around 36.4 thousand new businesses were registered in the first quarter of 2025, with a total capital of VND 356.8 trillion. While the number of new enterprises slightly declined, the total registered capital increased.

In this period, Dong Nai also recorded 221 enterprises registering to increase their capital, totaling over VND 8.8 trillion, down nearly 30% year-on-year. This indicates that many existing businesses are still facing challenges, leading to a significant drop in additional capital for production and business expansion.
