Dong Nai homes to 81 exemplary residential areas

(ĐN)- As of the end of first quarter, Dong Nai province has 81 exemplary residential areas, 14 more than at the end of 2024—according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment.

To be recognized as exemplary, residential areas must meet 10 criteria across 39 indicators, including infrastructure such as roads, electricity, cultural facilities, housing, gardens, and fences.

Environmental standards receive special attention. Regular clean-up campaigns, drainage maintenance, and efforts to preserve green spaces are actively implemented. Communities are encouraged to plant and care for trees.

Thanks to these efforts, many neighborhoods now feature well-lit streets, greenery, and vibrant flowers, creating clean, green, and beautiful environments. Residents have also taken the lead in more challenging practices, such as waste sorting at source, operating “Green Houses” for recyclable waste collection, and shifting toward safe agricultural production.
