This year, tourist sites have added Tet-themed decorations, traditional photo spots, and a wide range of entertainment programs, including music and cultural performances, to enhance the holiday experience. Expectations are high for increased visitor numbers compared to previous years.
Suoi Mo Park, a leading destination in Dong Nai, expects 35,000–40,000 visitors during the Tet holiday. Deputy General Director of Suoi Mo Tourism Investment Corporation, Pham Chau An, stated that the site features multiple Tet-themed photo zones, over 30,000 flower pots, and a festive atmosphere. Free activities include folk games, lion dances, acoustic music shows, calligraphy, and palm leaf crafting.
Buu Long Tourist Area, another top destination, has installed more than 50,000 flower pots and seasonal displays. The entry ticket remains unchanged at VND 150,000 for adults and VND 60,000 for children (1–1.4 meters tall); children under 1 meter enter free. The ticket includes access to over 40 attractions, excluding certain games like snow world, paddle boats, and fish massage (charged separately at VND 40,000–60,000 each). A budget-friendly combo package—VND 450,000 for 2 adults and 2 children—offers one-night accommodation and full access to attractions. Cultural performances will run from the first to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year.
Focus on Safety and Service
Sites offering water-based activities—such as Suoi Mo, Son Tien, Buu Long, Bo Cap Vang, and Tre Viet—have made safety a top priority. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Director of Bo Cap Vang, shared that the site will feature folk games, prize-winning contests, and interactive water shows. A man-made waterfall (Thac Bliss) provides a relaxing retreat for visitors.
Ecotourism locations like Cat Tien National Park and the Dong Nai Nature-Cultural Reserve are also preparing enhanced services for nature-seeking tourists. Local travel agencies are offering Tet-themed tours, including high-quality options tailored to families’ needs and budgets.
To ensure safe and enjoyable experiences, Director of Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Thi Ngoc Loan, has mandated that all tourism businesses must allocate sufficient staff, goods, and services, while ensuring food safety standards.
She emphasized that high-risk activities such as ziplining, rock climbing, and elevated obstacle courses must include properly trained guides, safety inspections, and clearly marked hazard zones. Emergency rescue equipment and procedures must be in place and ready for action.
With vibrant decorations, cultural programs, and reinforced safety measures, Dong Nai’s tourism industry is poised for a successful and joyful Tet season.
