The event saw the participation of over 2,000 amateur and professional marathoners, including runners from Southeastern provinces and cities, competing in categories for amateur teams and professional individuals for both men and women.
The tournament, which was co-held by Dong Nai Radio-Television Station, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the provincial Trade Union for Civil Servants, aimed to create a healthy playground for local people, civil servants, soldiers and workers as well as continue promoting physical training movement to improve health among people from various walks of life.
