The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is scheduled to take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20.
This marks the first time in history that Vietnam have qualified for the final round of World Cup together with 31 representatives from around the world. They are among six Asian representatives set to compete at the event, alongside China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and hosts Australia.
All Group E matches will get underway in Auckland, Hamilton, and Dunedin in New Zealand.
The Vietnamese women's football team coached by Mai Duc Chung gathered together on May 22 to prepare for the 2023 World Cup. From June 5 to June 25 the players will take part in a training camp in Germany there they are scheduled to play two friendlies, including an important match against the German national team on June 24.
From July 6 to July 17, they will depart for New Zealand and play two friendly matches against the national teams of Spain and New Zealand ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
