On March 28, the 2025 National Wushu Championship concluded after 6 days of exciting competition in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
At the end of the tournament, the Dong Nai Wushu team won 3 gold medals (GMs), 4 silver medals (SMs), and ranked third overall. Specifically in the Sanda (free fighting) category, Dong Nai achieved 1 GM, 3 SMs, ranking fourth, and obtained 2 GMs, 1 SM, ranking third in the Taolu (performance) category.

Among them, the 3 athletes who won GMs for Dong Nai Wushu included: Nguyen Thuc Anh (men’s staff, women), Do Phuong Anh (women's Tai Chi fan) in the Taolu category, and Ta Thi Hoa in the 48kg women's Sanda category.
Meanwhile, the Hanoi team displayed superiority, winning 8 GMs, 1 SM, and 3 bronze medals (BMs) in the Sanda category and affirming the number one position in the Taolu category with 14 GMs, 5 SMs, and 6 BMs, thereby excellently claiming the overall first place with 22 GMs, 7 SMs, and 8 BMs. Ho Chi Minh City ranked second overall with 4 GMs, 4 SMs, and 8 BMs.

The host of the championship, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, achieved 2 GMs, 5 BMs, ranking 9th overall.
The 2025 National Wushu Championship took place from March 23 to 28 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, gathering nearly 400 athletes from 32 units, competing in two main categories: Taolu and Sanda, vying for 51 sets of medals.
