Bien Hoa organizes death anniversary of the Hung Kings

(ĐN) - On April 7 (the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month), the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City solemnly organized the the death anniversary of the Hung Kings  at the National Temple of Hung Vuong, Binh Da Ward.

Right from early morning, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City organized a ceremony to carry the banh chung and banh day from the Tran Bien Temple of Literature to the National Temple of Hung Kings; delegates performed rituals of offering incense, recalling the history, and the traditional struggles for national independence and defense.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City Nguyen Xuan Thanh read a commemorative speech to honor the contributions of King Hùng and the ancestors who contributed to the establishment and defense of the nation. This aims to educate the tradition of remembering the source of water, reinforce the great national solidarity, and contribute to preserving cultural heritage values while building an advanced Vietnamese culture that is rich in national identity.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai Art Theater, Phan Boi Chau Primary School, and Tan An Secondary School performed artistic programs to pay tribute to the contributions of King Hùng and the ancestors. The People's Committee of Bien Hoa City awarded prizes for the contests for making bánh chưng and bánh dày and decorating the five-fruit trays at the National Temple of Hung Kings.
