Dong Nai earns 1 gold medal at 2025 National Judo Championship

(ĐN) - The athletes from Dong Nai have won 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals at the 2025 National Judo Championship, which is underway  in Dong Thap province.

As of the second day of competition (April 2), the judo athletes from Dong Nai achieved 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals at the at the 2025 National Judo Championship, which is underway  in Dong Thap province.

The only gold medal for Dong Nai team so far was won by two athletes, Tran Le Phuong Nga - Vu Thi Thanh, in the Juno Kata category. The 2 bronze medals from Dong Nai were achieved in the Kodokan Goshin and Kateme Nokata categories by two athletes, Phan Minh Hanh - Du Gia Phuoc.  

Ho Chi Minh City is leading the medal tally. Dong Thap, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the Military, Hau Giang, Bac Ninh, Binh Thuan, and Can Tho have also won gold medals.  

The at the 2025 National Judo Championship took place from April 1 to 4, attracting more than 380 athletes from 21 teams across the country, including Dong Nai. The athletes compete for a total of 24 sets of medals for males and females in individual and team events for kata and combat. Among these, there are 10 sets of medals for kata events and 14 sets of medals for combating events.
