96% of Dong Nai’s population covered by health insurance

(ĐN)- Dong Nai targets to raise its health insurance coverage rate to 96 percent by 2025. According to the report, the health insurance coverage rate increased from 53 percent in 2009 to 93 percent in 2023.

Over the past 15 years, local medical sector has made efforts to increase the health insurance coverage, improve check-up and treatment quality, the attitude of medical workers to health insurance holders and fee payment processes of patients using health insurance. This helps participants understand more about benefits of health insurance, not only for taking care of their own health but also for sharing with those who are more disadvantaged and the elderly.
