Dinh Tien Hoang Private High School inaugurated

(ĐN)- On August 28, Dinh Tien Hoang High School held a ceremony to inaugurate and start the new school year 2007-2008. Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh.

Dinh Tien Hoang Private High School is established under the Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No.71/QD-UBND dated January 6, 2006. The school is built on an area of 2.1 hectares in Tan Hiep ward, Bien Hoa city at a total cost of VND 17 billion. It includes 22 classrooms, 7 foreign language and computer rooms, electronic library, meeting-hall, gymnasium, canteen, and rooms for day-boarders. The school is home to 760 students.

According to Mr. Dinh Ngoc Tu, Chairman of the school’s Board of Directors, the school will continue to be built and expanded to become an international-standard school in the next years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Ao Van Thinh hoped that Dinh Tien Hoang school will make all efforts to promote educational socialization in the province. He wished that the school’s teachers and students will strive to reach good results in teaching and studying.   

On this occasion, the school’s Board of Directors offered 16 scholarships worth VND800,000 to VND900,000 each to good students who have just been admitted to the school
