Bien Hoa city celebrates the country’s 62nd anniversary of National Day

(ĐN) – Bien Hoa city on August 31 held a meeting to mark the 62nd anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Attending the meeting were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Secretary of Bien Hoa city Party Committee Vy Van Vu.

(ĐN) – Bien Hoa city on August 31 held a meeting to mark the 62nd anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Attending the meeting were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Secretary of Bien Hoa city Party Committee Vy Van Vu, Vietnamese heroic mothers, Heroes of the Peoples Armed Forces, and more than 500 representatives from agencies, branches and units in the province.

 

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Chairman of Bien Hoa city People’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong highlighted the historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day, affirmed the great achievements of Vietnamese people in general and the local people of Dong Nai province in particular over the past 62 years. Accordingly, the Party, Government and people of the city will incessantly strive to speed up industrialization and modernization, build Bien Hoa into a modern and civilized city in the next time.  

 

On this occasion, Bien Hoa city’s Fatherland Front made an appeal to call on organizations and individuals to make efforts to achieve the city’s 2007 socio-economic goals. 

Before that, a delegation of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai provice and Bien Hoa city visited and laid wreaths at Dong Nai Martyr’s Cemetery.
