Dong Nai's youths volunteer to join the military

Thousands of young people in Dong Nai have been called to enlist and fulfill their military service obligations in 2025, with a significant number having volunteered to join the military.

The political commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Bui Dang Ninh, said “So far, both the quantity and quality of citizens called to military service in 2025 meet the requirements of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7, and the province. Notably, among the young people receiving enlistment orders, many are young party members, have high education levels, and are twins.”

According to the report from the Provincial Military Command, the whole province has 3,098 citizens called to fulfill their military service in 2025, including 9 female citizens. Among the 9 female citizens from Dong Nai enlisting in 2025, 6 will join units of the Ministry of National Defense and 3 will join units of Military Region 7. Most of the female citizens receiving enlistment orders this time have volunteered to apply for military service and have educational backgrounds ranging from intermediate to university level.

Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Tran Tien Dat, stated that in 2025, the Prime Minister has assigned a target for recruiting public security officers in Dong Nai of 428 male citizens. So far, the police of the districts and cities have issued 493 orders calling citizens to fulfill their obligations in public security (428 official citizens and 65 reserves).
