Efforts made to care for people's lives

To improve the people's livelihoods, the Provincial Party Committee has focused on implementing 12 criteria, including reducing the poverty rate, aiming for sustainable poverty reduction, increasing income for workers, and striving for a prosperous life.

By the end of 2024, the average income per capita in Dong Nai is expected to reach 148.9 million VND per year, with the poverty rate reduced to only 0.1%. Achieving this result has involved the care of the entire political system, including the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and various political and social organizations that have mobilized and encouraged the people to actively study, work, produce, and assist the disadvantaged.
In recent years, the farmer associations at all levels in the province have coordinated to organize many vocational training activities, provide consultancy, and support farmers with employment, production, and business, while regularly launching the Movement for Farmers to Compete in Excellent Production and Business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty.
Through this movement, an average of over 95,000 households in Dong Nai register each year, with more than 54,000 households achieving the title of excellent farmers at various levels (accounting for 57.2% of registered households).

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Fatherland Front and political - social organizations mobilized and donated nearly 233,000 gifts worth 533 billion VND. At the same time, they built and repaired 16 Great unity houses and Red Cross houses; donated over 2,200 train tickets, bus tickets, and plane tickets to support workers and laborers in difficult circumstances returning home for the New Year and awarded more than 1,700 scholarships.
