114 volunteers in Dinh Quan participate in humanitarian blood donation

(ĐN) – A humanitarian blood donation campaign has just launched by Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter and the HCMC Blood Transfusion Center with the participation of 114 local volunteers. 64 of them were students of Dieu Cai high school, the rest were teachers and staffs working at the People’s Committee of communes. This was the fourth time that Dinh Quan has held the mobilization of humanitarian blood donation in 2006.

It is estimated that about 400 volunteers have donated blood since the beginning of 2006, collected 526 units of blood, exceed 170% of the year’s target.
