(ĐN)- On the occasion of Vietnamese Teacher Day (Nov. 20 ), Dong Nai province’s Department of Education and Training has held a ceremony to honor teachers who dedicate their lives to the task of educating our children. Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, teachers and representatives of the schools in the province.
At the ceremony, the representatives and teachers have reviewed memories of their years of teaching and learning at the schools. They believed that Vietnamese people’s tradition of respecting teachers and valuing education will continuously be uphold and brought into play by the next generations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga highly praised the contributions of educational staff as well as teachers to the province’s education development. She hoped that the teachers would further strive to fulfill their tasks in education and meet the requirements of the society.
