The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs plans to send 125,000 workers abroad this year.
Vu Trong Binh, Director General of the Department of Employment, said: “We will continue to help workers find jobs overseas. If workers who return from South Korea and Japan want to work in Binh Duong, Dong Nai or Ca Mau, our system is available to help them with job replacement by introducing them to employment services and service centers nationwide. Our system connects 63 centers which conduct regular employment sessions.”
Last year, Vietnam sent nearly 160,000 workers overseas, a record high, which surpassed the set target of 120,000.
