Dong Nai hopes more cooperation oportunities in vocational training with Japan

(ĐN)- On April 22, Dong Nai’s investment promotion delegation led by Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh of the provincial Party Committee paid a working visit to Kawahara Vocational Training School in Ehime, Japan.

In recent years, economic growth rate of the province is seen at a high and stable rate, at an average 8 percent per year. Currently, Japan is the third largest trade partner of Dong Nai, with combined investment capital of over 5 billion USD. Most of Japanese businesses had invested in Dong Nai for a long time, with many of them attaching their presence between 25 and 30 years in the province. Therefore, they had created jobs for over 100,000 laborers.

Dong Nai is currently home to 57 occupation training establishments, including 10 universities and colleges, 5 technical schools, 21 occupation training centers and 21 others.

According to the vocation training plan in 2024, Dong Nai expected to provide training to more than 17,000 learners, Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh said, adding his hope that the working visit would held two sides learn about the ability and demand, creating opportunities to cooperate in vocational training.

Kawahara Vocational Training School is one of high-quality vocational training schools in Japan. At present, it is providing vocational training in various occupations, such as electronics, nursing, chefs, etc, with high rate of learners having jobs after graduation.
