VND85.4 bil raised for study encouragement

(ĐN)- In the first six months of this year, Dong Nai Study Promotion Association and its branches raised more than VND89 billion from organizations and individuals for local study promotion fund.

Of the total, the association spent over VND85.4 billion for study encouragement activities.

In Jan-June, the association also launched a program to raise money for study encouragement fund by mobilizing locals to put money in their clay pigs. Accordingly, the program received active supports from local residents and raised over VND15.7 billion.

Over the past 6 months, the association and its agencies have successfully persuaded 61 students to return to school and continue their studies.
