Dong Nai to organize first-ever friendship cultural week

(ĐN) - On April 1, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province held a  conference to review its activities the first quarter of 2025.

According to Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province Nguyen Thanh Tri, in the first three months of 2025, the people's external relations work has been implemented by the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province along with 10 member friendship associations in coordination with departments, sectors, and localities, achieving many positive results.  

Among them, the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province mobilized foreign non-governmental resources and contributions from members to build 20 houses to support the Program for removing temporary houses and dilapidated houses in Dong Nai province in 2025.

At the same time, many foreign non-governmental projects have been organized, such as: providing scholarships for disadvantaged students; installing and bringing clean water systems into use in schools; giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances…  

In the coming time, the Union of Friendship Organizations of the province together with member friendship associations, departments, and localities will continue to coordinate to implement the people's external relations work according to the 2025 plan, which includes focusing on organizing a friendship cultural week expected to take place in September. This event will feature numerous activities for community participation, such as: cultural exchanges, sports, cuisine; thematic discussions on friendship work; organizing study abroad consultations; launching friendship tree planting…
