Nearly 9,300 people in Dong Nai participate in voluntary blood donation campaigns

(ĐN) - On April 1, the provincial Red Cross Association launched a plan to organize the voluntary blood donation campaign for April 2025. This is one of the activities organized by Dong Nai to mark the Humanitarian Month in 2025.  

Ms. Do Thi Phuoc Thien, Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross Association, presented awards to individuals and organizations with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation work.

Accordingly, the provincial Red Cross Societíe of districts, cities, and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre will coordinate to organize 12 voluntary blood donation sessions withto mobilize 4,000 blood units. The organizers hope to receive participation from all walks of life to help ensure a sufficient blood supply and blood products for the health care of the people.  

The Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross Association, Do Thi Phuoc Thien, said that in the first 3 months of 2025, the province organized 40 voluntary blood donation drives. As a result, nearly 9,300 individuals participated in voluntary blood donation campaigns.

In March 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded recognition from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Red Cross Society to 105 individuals and organizations with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation work.
