Chua Chan Mountain ecotourism project scheduled to start on April 19 

(ĐN) - The provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 137/KH-UBND on April 11, 2025, to organize the launching ceremony of the Ecotourism Project at Chua Chan Mountain, Xuan Loc District. Accordingly, the ceremony will be held on April 19. 

According to the provincial People's Committee, the organization of the  ceremony of the ecotourism project at Chua Chan Mountain aims to provide an overview of the project. At the same time, it emphasizes the importance of the task of developing tourism, creating a strong transformation of the entire political system, all levels, and sectors regarding the position and role of tourism in the economic and social development tasks of the province, achieving the goals and tasks of the provincial economic and social development according to the spirit of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the term 2020-2025. 

The aim of the project is to introduce the potential and advantages of ecotourism, recreation, and entertainment at Chua Chan Mountain, while also preparing well the resources and calling for interested investors in the project, to soon form a large ecotourism area that is high-class and quality-oriented for the province. Along with that, it will create a communication effect, attracting tourists right from the initial phase of the project, generating a strong spread to promote tourism development, striving by 2030 to build Dong Nai into a key tourist destination in the Southeastern region. 

Previously, in March, the provincial People's Committee approved the adjustment of the overall plan for the preservation, restoration, and embellishment of the scenic monument at Chua Chan Mountain until 2030.

 According to the decision, the scope of research to adjust the monument's plan is over 1,700 hectares located in five administrative units: Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong, Xuan Hiep, Suoi Cat, and Gia Ray Town in Xuan Loc District. Among which, the project group for the Chua Chan Mountain ecotourism and recreation area has a total investment of about 18 trillion VND.
